Tim is a serial entrepreneur and tech company builder, with nearly 20 years and 6 ventures behind him. Tim is most known for founding and building world leading video creation platform – 90 Seconds, which is a Sequoia & VC backed venture he’s raised over US$35m for.
90 Seconds is a very global company and delivers in 100 countries for 200 of the worlds biggest companies like Apple and Amazon, and Tim has taken it from zero to profitable with a team of around 100 people. Tim also invests in and advises founders and early stage companies, and loves supporting people to overcome challenges and adversity to rise up.
Tim is originally from New Zealand and is a proud kiwi, was born on a farm, and loves nature. Tim has lived in several countries in Asia and the US, and travels extensively for business and life from his main home base in Singapore on the tropical equator. Tim has a deep appreciation for the diversity of culture and experiences in the world, and this shapes his world view and vision for building companies.
Tim is an awarded entrepreneur, has been a finalist in the EY entrepreneur of the year in New Zealand, and 90 Seconds has been recognized for several years in the Deloitte fast 50 and 500 in Asia Pacific and won numerous other awards.
